Everyone Plays Silent Auction-Great Gatsby Giving!

For the past year, the Lena Whitmore Elementary Parent and Teacher (PAT) organization has been focused on a specific fundraising effort that will benefit the school and community. Lena Whitmore’s playground is considered to be a city park, but portions of the playground are reaching the end of their lifespan and must be replaced. While the park meets the criteria for being ADA compliant, it isn’t ADA friendly for someone in a wheelchair to access and/or play on the equipment. Creating a more wheelchair accessible playground allows children with all abilities the chance to play and engage with peers.
The PAT has raised ~$48,000 with the help of local businesses, generous financial donations from community members and within our own school; however, we are still in great need of your help to reach this goal. With almost $160,000 still to go, we are a long way from meeting our target goal. Below are some ways you can make a meaningful difference in creating a playground where everyone can play.
