Moscow, ID – July 8, 2022 – Local breweries are teaming up with Rural Roots to host a local beer, music and food festival 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday July 30. The event will be held on the lawn at the Latah County Fairgrounds at 1021 Harold Street, Moscow, ID.

“As a non-profit, we want to build our community while supporting innovative local businesses such as our local musicians, food trucks and breweries!” said Susan Fluegel, Rural Roots Board Member.

Local breweries, Moscow Brewing Company, Hunga Dunga, Micropolis, and Paradise Creek Brewery, will offer 4-ounce pours of hand-crafted seasonal local releases.

Two local food trucks, Sushi Man and Battleground Food Truck will also be featured with delicious dinner options.

Musical headliner, BEARGRASS of Deary, Idaho will play upbeat country favorites from 6-10 p.m. BEARGRASS is an Inland Northwest perennial favorite for live classic country music. Shayne and Alane Watkins have been the core of BEARGRASS since 2000, though each has performed with multiple bands entertaining country music lovers for over 35 years. Drawing from a variety of musical influences, this husband-and-wife duo often blends folk, bluegrass, western, and original ballads into their performances around campfires, coffee shops and county fairs.

Rebecca Lewis opens from 4-6 p.m. captivating with a combination of acoustic country, pop, and classic rock covers and originals.

General entry is free. Tickets for the beer garden are $15 and include an event pint glass and four tastings. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite, and on site the night of the event! You can also find the festival on Facebook. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.
