The Friends of the Moscow Library host giant book sales at the Latah
County Fairgrounds twice a year, in March and September. Proceeds fund
the Summer and Winter Reading Programs and many other events, as well as
occasional capital needs benefitting Moscow Library patrons. Hardback
and softback books, DVDs and Blu-rays, and CD audiobooks are all on
offer.
Book sales at the Fairgrounds begin on Friday evening with a “members
only” pre-sale. If you’re not already a Friends of the Moscow Library
member you can join on the spot by paying the modest annual dues.
Pre-sale customers can take advantage of the best selection. The book sale continues on
Saturday morning, open to the general public. Towards closing time the
Friends offer the wildly popular “Buck a Bag” sale.
Where do the items for the book sales come from? Your donations, as
well as items removed from the collection. Want to donate materials?
