Our Memorial Day event is sponsored by the American Legion Dudley Loomis Post 6 of Moscow and is an annual affair that remembers those who have given their lives as uniformed members of our military. Each year, Dudley Loomis Post 6 has provided the Latah County populace with a short program. This year the event once again is being held at the Latah County Fairground event center beginning on Monday, May 29 ^th from 10:30 to 11:00 with music provided by the Moscow School District High School and Middle School bands, a wreath laying ceremony provided by the Cub and Girl Scouts, and a few words from the leadership of the local American Legion remembering those who have given the greatest sacrifice in our nation’s defense.
