The University of Idaho Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers
is excited to host our Inagural Banquet! We hope you'll join us for an
evening of food, drinks, and an incredible raffle prize line up
featuring brands like NRS, Cheeky Fishing, Nightforce Optics, Ruffland Kennels and more!
All proceeds of this event will directly support an upcoming habitat
restoration project on Craig Mountain (date TBD based on weather
outlook). We will be planting Elderberry, Serviceberry, and Snowberry in
areas of migration for deer and elk. This project will provide
important forage for deer, elk, and other wildlife during the toughest
months. Winter is all about survival and anything that we can do/provide
for the animals, the higher likely hood these animals will make it
through to the spring. Elderberry, service berry, and snowberry are all
native/vital shrubs for wintering wildlife. The area we are planning to
plant is big game winter range, and having a higher quality forage in
place will in return equal higher survivability which will hopefully
equal higher recruitment.

Tickets
include a complimentary wild game dinner and discounted tickets are
available for those who would like to bring a side dish. We have been
fortunate enough to have many products donated by generous sponsors for
our raffle and silent auction. There will also be games, drinks, and
music to enjoy while connecting with the BHA community!
